Happy holidays everybody! Firstly, we'd like to say a big thank you to YOU, for being a huge part of the global Power Platform community in 2024. All of your tireless efforts don't go unnoticed, and it's thanks to the unity in our community that we continue to go from strength to strength into 2025.

So, to wrap up this year with a bow, we've put together a recap of some of the highlights of the last 12 months, alongside taking a look as some of the big upcoming community events.

4TH ANNIVERSARY OF POWER PLATFORM WEEKLY

Congratulations to the Power Platform Weekly team, as they celebrate not only their 200th edition, but also their fourth year of sharing the freshest community content.

It's been a great year for the Power Up program, as more and more people joined this amazing initiative that enables non-tech professionals to advance into a new career path in low-code development using Microsoft Power Platform.

COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS

It's been a big year of change within the Microsoft community, so we took a moment to speak to Community Engagement Director, Charles Drayton, as he looks towards the future.

"On behalf of the Community Engagement Team, I'd like to thank all our members for their continued support of the Power Platform and Dynamics communities. We had an eventful year, replete with a lot of changes. It wasn't always easy, but I'm proud of the dedicated team of Community Managers for their hard work, and you, our community, for sticking with us as we navigated the migration. Your thoughts, feedback, ideas, and ongoing participation were critical in ensuring that we came out the other side stronger than we started.

I can't tell you how excited I am for 2025. We have some big ideas and plans for the communities, and we can't wait to start rolling them out. Keep attending the calls as we keep you abreast of the exciting new community features. It'll be better than ever!

The 2025 Super Users Season 1 will be selected around January 15th, so be on the lookout for the official announcement. Congratulations in advance to all our Super Users. 2025 will bring about some exciting new changes to the Super User program, including new ways to earn points. I won't spoil it for you, but please continue in joining us for the Super User calls and we'll share more in the coming months. Have a very happy new year and see you all in 2025!"
