    Hi,

What is your actual question? Please provide some context if you need help to get an error resolved. What steps have you done to get to this error? Is this working in other agents or for other users?

Please give more detail about your issue.

Otherwise, reason of connector fail is mentioned in your screenshot:

We couldn't find the resource you requested, this may happen if the item was deleted, renamed or is still syncing.

Please verify as mentioned, if still facing issue, please share here with detail.

I do have the same issue as @SA-05022004-0, so I'd like to add more context and I'd appreciate your help.
I have a couple of agents built with Work IQ and for the last couple of days when I go to tools I see the very same issue:

    And "View details" says
I tried to disabled and enable Work IQ + I deleted and added Work IQ tools back, but nothing has changed and I still got the same issue for all Work IQs available.
I already checked DLP policies just in case - Work IQs are enabled. I also get more generic error while using New Experience when I try to add Work IQ as a tool

Do you know what can cause the issue? Everything was working absolutely fine last week.
Thank you a lot in advance!

Work IQ was working fine in our Sandbox Environment until end of May. For 1st week of June Work IQ stopped working, Hence I tried to disable and enable Work IQ +  I deleted and added Work IQ tools back, but nothing has changed and I still got the same issue for all Work IQs available as mentioned by  .

I tried creating new agent in our Sandbox Environment and added Work IQ tools, but I still got the same issue for all Work IQs.

We have Production Environment, where Work IQs was and is working as expected.

Our sandbox Environment release cycle is set to Early, does Microsoft Release new Work IQ version causing this issue?

    Regards,
    Subhash

The evidence points to a Sandbox-specific Work IQ issue, potentially related to an Early Release update or backend service change introduced in June.

Because Production continues to function normally and the issue persists across multiple agents and Work IQ tools,

Microsoft Support should be engaged to investigate whether this is a known regression or service-side problem.

Found the likely root cause. Microsoft docs confirm: "Starting June 16, 2026, Work IQ API will be available through consumption-based billing using Copilot Credits."

Work IQ moved from free/included to consumption-based billing on June 16, 2026. If your sandbox environment doesn't have Copilot Credits provisioned or a pay-as-you-go billing setup, the Work IQ tools will start failing with connector errors.

This also explains why Production works if Production has the M365 Copilot licenses or credits configured and Sandbox doesn't, the behavior difference makes sense.

Your sandbox environment being on the Early release track likely received this billing enforcement earlier than Production.

    To fix:
    1. Check PPAC > Billing for your Sandbox environment and confirm Copilot Credits are available or PAYG is configu
    red
    2. If your tenant has M365 Copilot licenses, make sure users in the Sandbox environment are properly licensed
    3. Check that Work IQ is enabled in PPAC > Settings > Features for the Sandbox environment

    Best regards,

    Valantis

I want to provide an update: I did nothing, Work IQ just started working again.
I guess the issue is resolved.
