I’m writing to report an issue regarding the recent removal of Copilot’s ability to edit, modify, and work with user‑uploaded images. This capability was essential for creators across multiple platforms. It supported visualizers, promotional graphics, AI‑assisted video concepts, and character‑based content. Copilot functioned as part of our creative workflow, not just an assistant.
Since this change, creators now receive responses such as “I’m sorry, I can’t do that,” even for tasks Copilot previously handled reliably. Copilot has indicated that new restrictions were placed on what it can do. While these restrictions may have valid intentions, the impact on creators appears to have been overlooked.
For Millennials, Gen Z, and Gen Alpha, AI collaboration is standard practice. Removing this capability disrupts production schedules and creative pipelines.
I respectfully request that Copilot’s creator‑focused image editing features be reinstated or that an alternative solution be provided.
