Custom connector actions not showing in Automate

Hi there,

I built two new actions for a custom connector yesterday. However, when I go to use these actions in a flow, they do not appear (only the previous two I created last week).

Is there anything I can do to 'force' a refresh so that they appear?

Thanks

K.

    Hi,

Yes, create a brand new connection in Power Automate (not Power Apps) for your connector, and it then will appear in your flows.

    Thanks

I added a new Action to my Custom Connector. When I went to Power Automate it was not visible.

The only way I seemed to get it to appear is to Download the Custom Connector (into JSON). Then reimport it as an OPENAPI File.

I had to re-enter the Security values but all the Action Definitions came back (Including the new one I added).

Thanks Power participant. That definitley worked after wasting at least three hours on not seeing the action.

I took a different approach as a workaround.

    1. Created a new Dummy Connector by using Import Open API File
    2. Re- updated the Original Connector Actions via paconn

    3. Now i can see the new actions in the flow.

    Conclusion :
I guess the api caches the old actions and it's not seeing the new actions that were added to the Custom Connector. When we create a new connector, the api seems to flush all the old caches and able to find the new ones. This way, i don't lose my original custom connector settings and definitions.

    Hope this helps.
