Hi everyone,

I’m using Planner Premium, and I’ve seen that Power Automate only surfaces and works with Planner Basic plans. The Planner connector actions all fail or redirect to a Basic‑plan endpoint.

my questions are:

1. Are there any reliable workarounds?

2. Has Microsoft given any indication that official Power Automate connectors for Planner Premium are coming?

I’ve seen several threads where users report the same issue, but no clear roadmap or announcement from Microsoft. If anyone is aware of documentation, insider info, roadmap notes, or community discussions pointing to future support, I’d appreciate it.

Hi there!

Here's the confirmation you need. YES, Power automate can work with Planner premium but not directly with the basic actions you see in Power Automate. You are going to need to work directly with the Dataverse tables such as msdyn_project and msdyn_projecttask.

You can work directly with most sending http requests. Goes without saying, there's a learning curve here. I would not expect to see any Planner Premium actions in Power Automate in 2026, at a minimum.
