Trying to Match Variable to a Single Line text field number

I have a variable, let's say it contains the number 5

Next, I have a condition to ask if the variable is equal to the SharePoint item. SharePoint is displaying 5 in the list

However, when the flow runs it fails. They don't match.

I check my variable -it is displaying 5

I check the SharePoint column, and it is displaying 5.000000000000000 Guessing this is why they don't equal.

I tried setting the SharePoint (Calculated field type) to Number and decimal is 0, but when I check the flow compose, it's still seeing 5.000000000000 in the workflow.

Looking for help please.

    Hi @Portland

You can use the format number action in Flow and pass the calculated column from sharepoint to this action as an input and then select the output format. Based on this, you can then compare with the variable values.

    Hope this Helps!

    Hi @Portland ,

You could save the calculated column value in a Compose, then refer to screenshot below to create the flow:

    int(first(split(outputs('Compose'),'.')))

    Best Regards,

    Alice
