Help with Content Approval workflow setup

Hello,

I am needing advice on the best set up to accomplish a document approval process for my company.  The following would be the ideal flow.  Average employ emails a document for approval as an attachment to be reviewed (send email to Teams or email to new O365 profile?).  The attachment is copied to a Sharepoint Library for storage.  This triggers a three teired approval process.  The first approver would be alerted with a yes or no response.  If yes proceed to the next approver.  If no alert the original submitter that a revision is necessary.  Originator can resubmit again.  Once the last person approves, the document is moved to an Approved folder.    There would need to be some type of documentation or trail showing the three individuals reviewed and approved the document.

I have had success with "Start approval for new documents and notify via Teams" flow to accomplish this by using the Teams Channel email address.  However, not only the attached document but a copy of the email is uploaded to the Sharepoint Library which sets off the approval flow for the .eml file.  I do not need the copy of the email just the attachment uploaded.

Are there any better or simpler solutions out there?

    Hi @Anonymous,

Could you please share a screenshot of the configuration of your flow?

I'm curious about why the copy of the email is uploaded to the Sharepoint Library in your flow.

Please share more details so we would try to provide a proper workaround for you.

    Best regards,

    Alice
