Power Automate and using Co Pilot for getting online information

Hi, hopefully somebody can lead me in the right direction. My goal is to have a power automate flow which has a list of products and for each product I want Co Pilot to look for a price on the internet and return that output to a Sharepoint list.

However with the regular Execute Co Pilot (and wait) step I am able to retrieve the chat ID but not the answer itself.

On this video it is shown that you can get that answer mailed to yourself (however the mail itself is composed by co pilot and afterwards this body is again stored in an Excel). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L1WhE4fY5ZU

Isn't it possible to directly get the body of the message and write that to a Sharepoint List? I also read something about the CoPilot chat API but not sure if this is the solution and how to use it.

Many thanks for your advice

You mentioned that "However with the regular Execute Co Pilot (and wait) step I am able to retrieve the chat ID but not the answer itself".

When accessing the dynamic content from the Execute Copilot and wait action, are you able to access any of these two properties from your end?

If yes, those seems to be what you're looking for. The response is an array containing all responses from the conversation, while the lastResponse is a string containing only the last message sent by the Agent.

If you need further guidance on how to use it, you can refer to this recent blog that I've posted exploring exactly this scenario (starting from Power Automate an Agent that searches for data on the web): https://digitalmill.net/2025/10/27/how-to-start-a-copilot-studio-agent-from-power-automate/

    Thanks for your reaction.

Quite strange, last week I already added these options before posting to the forum and they remained empty and now I do seem to get back the output from CoPilot. So apparantly it does work :-)

Many thanks for your input. This can be quite useful!
