Send an Email (V2) - From (send as) no longer going into the sent items of that account

Trying to understand if Microsoft have changed the sent box where emails are stored when using the From (send as) setting:

When I use the Send an Email (V2) action and use another mailbox in the From (send as) I usually see the email's in that account's sent items.

E.g. connection is doug@doug.onmicrosoft.com  From (send as) is enquiries@doug.onmicrosoft.com I would expect all emails to be visible in the sent items for enquiries@doug.onmicrosoft.com.

I had to reauthenticate a connection in a flow and now am seeing the emails in my sent items i.e. they are in the sent items for doug@doug.onmicrosoft.com even though they are being sent from enquires@doug.onmicrosoft.com.

    Hi There,

This behavior can occur if the "Send As" permission is misconfigured or if there's a caching issue with the Power Automate flow connection. To fix this use these steps -

Ensure that doug@doug.onmicrosoft.com has the "Send As" permission for enquiries@doug.onmicrosoft.com in the Microsoft 365 Admin Center.

Also Navigate to Power Automate. Go to "Data" and then "Connections." Find and delete the connection in question. Re-add the connection and re-authenticate.

Edit the flow that uses the "Send an Email (V2)" action. Ensure that the "From (send as)" field is set correctly to enquiries@doug.onmicrosoft.com.

    Hope this will help.

Please give kudos and mark as solution if it helps.

    Thanks,

    Sandeep Mishra

Do some tests in Outlook. Same behavior? If yes, follow the instructions here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/exchange/troubleshoot/user-and-shared-mailboxes/sent-mail-is-not-saved
