Condition Expression is Showing False while the condition is True

The logic is to check the column in my excel Sheet "DCPN" and see the data is the same data in Distributor Product Col 1,2,3,4,5. If the data is the same then update the Compliant Col to "YES", if they data is not the same then update the Compliant Col to "NO". The condition is showing false, and I think the reason is because there is an apply to each nested in another apply to reach. Please see the screenshots below.

@JamilJames To troubleshoot your condition action you should add a couple of Compose actions before the Condition action and insert the dynamic content you are evaluating in your Condition action. Run a test and view the outputs of the Compose action to see if they are what you are expecting.

Because you are using the is equal to operator, it's looking for an exact match. If the dynamic content output isn't matching the values you've manually inputted into the second value field of the condition row—it will return false.

I cover how to do that in the first section of this tutorial: 5 Power Automate Troubleshooting FAQs and Helpful Tips for Creating Better Flows

    Hi @creativeopinion

Thank you for the quick replay. Unfortunately, I have tried what you are suggesting above, and I am still getting a false expression. I am wondering if it is because the nested apply to each.

@creativeopinion and when I put compose for "Get Item" it puts it in apply to each, and the output is the number that is enter into the Distributor Product Column.

@JamilJames Sorry after reviewing your flow again, you'll need to use a Filter Array action. Take a look at this tutorial: Are you using the Microsoft Power Automate Filter Array Action wrong?

In this video tutorial I’ll show you 3 practical ways to use the Filter Array action and how to use it properly.

    1️⃣ Cross-Referencing Data

    2️⃣ Filtering by Key

    3️⃣ Substring Matching

Did you know that the Condition action has a limit of 10 conditions? Although it might look like the Filter Array action can only accept one condition—this is not true. By using the advanced mode you can enter multiple conditions into a Filter Array action with an expression.

    IN THIS VIDEO:

3 Ways to Use the Filter Array Action

How to use the Scope Action to Group Actions

How to Check the Number of Items returned from a Filter Array Action

How to Cross-Reference Data in Excel with a SharePoint List

How to Access the Dynamic Content from a Filter Array Action

How to Filter Items by a Key

How to Filter Items by Matching a Substring

How to Use Multiple Conditions in a Filter Array Action

    Hope this helps!
