Hi all,

I'm creating a flow where users will receive an automate email on their birthdays.

The flow is working however it's sending a day earlier instead of actual schedule.

So the date I pull is from my sharepoint below

    Hi @AlfaE ,

    The issue is the server time for UTC now in your compose.  I don't know what time it is but you can try a couple of times adding some hours to see the results for today's date.  Here's what the expression looks like:

    addHours(formatDateTime(utcNow(),'MM-dd'),8)

    Because you are 8 hours ahead of UTC and your server time may be even farther ahead, when this runs as 8 AM, it's actually just before midnight the previous day and the root cause.  So, experiment with the compose adding some hours to get the desired results and this expression should solve this for you.

    Hi @AlfaE ,

    Maybe it's caused by the time zone in flow.

    Could you share the outputs about 'Dob' and formatDateTime(utcnow(),'MM-dd') ?

    You can try to add a compose before the condition to store the outputs of Dob.

    Best Regards,

    Wearsky

    Hi @trice602

    Thank you for suggestion, unfortunately your suggestion doesn't seem to work.

    Did a test flow and the email didn't come in.

    Also waited for the schedule time and didn't receive the email either.

    Understood.  Review the output of your compose and see what the date is and modify adding hours to get to the correct date.
