Triggering on ADO item creating based on tags

I'd like to trigger an action based on adding certain tags to an ADO item.

Is that possible with Power Automate?

Thanks

    Hi @rogemer,

    That would be possible by adding a trigger condition expression to your trigger action. In that expression you could use an equals function to check the system_tags field value.

    Below is an example of that approach.

    In my example I am checking if the tag is 'TestTag'.

    @equals(triggerOutputs()?['body/fields']['System_Tags'], 'TestTag')

    I get the following error trying to implement your recommendation. Any suggestions?

    Hi @rogemer,

    This issue could occur when you are testing with a work item without a tag. However, the trigger condition should prevent the flow from even triggering. So, it is odd that you are even getting a flow run, it shouldn't trigger in the first place.

    How are you testing? Are you updating a work item in Azure DevOps and looking at the flow history?

    Or are you using the Test feature of flow with a previous run and re-running it? With the latter you could run into this issue.
