Add an opened Outlook task to Teams Planner

Hello,

We would like to create a flow that starts when a task is added to user's mailbox with specific keyword, that this task is also automatically created in Microsoft Teams Planner. We have a problem with "Assigned User Ids" attribute under Create Planner task - this field requires user id or user email, but the dynamic content variable named "Assigned to" returns user in a "Lastname, Firstname" form. How can we add user's email addresses in this field instead of Lastname, Firstname?

Thank you!

Best wishes
Marko

Hi there! - So...usual caveat:  There might be a more elegant way to fix this, but this is how I did it:

Try inserting a step to "search for users" (I tried "Get User Profile" and that didn't work, probably for the same reason).

Because you can assigned multiple users to tasks, though, Flow wants to create an Apply to Each loop.  Not a showstopper, but might make things weird.  See below:

Another option might be to manipulate the text using functions, to match the format of the email addresses or something.

    Keep us posted.
