image quality settings without downloading third party

My flow start on Power automate web and goes:
When a new email arrives. Get attachment, Create File.
I then moved to PAD, where the flow goes:
Wait for file (looking in the folder where the web is saving attachment to, Convert file (from PDF - JPG), Create File.
My problem is the subsequent JPG is of a too low quality for the information to be read. Is there a way, without installing a third party connector or app, that I can edit the image quality settings? I have no problem with changing the flow up completely if needed.

Power Automate is not the cause of the issue of low-quality images. It does no conversion on the attachments. Since you said the images are attachments, you need to be sure whomever is sending them to you sends high-quality images. It is the concept of GIGO taught in IT 101: garbage in, garbage out.

While you may be able to enhance the images with image editing tools, if the images are poor quality to begin with, you will not get very good results. Although there are probably AI tools out there that could do a decent job. It is much easier to take a high-quality image and make it look like crap than to take an image that looks like crap and make it look good.

    Hello.

Just to inform. When the attachments come through, I use a PDF converter website to convert them to JPGs and they come out amazing quality. The original attachment is of high quality. The JPG is half the file size of the PDF, so I do think power automate is doing something to lower the quality, meaning to or not.

I can now categorically guarantee that this is power automate downgrading the quality of the image, attached is the original PDF, and the converted JPG.

In your post below you said, "I use a PDF converter website to convert them to JPGs." If you are using an external website to convert the PDF to JPG, how is Power Automate involved and why is it Power Automate's fault for the lower quality? The pdf is higher quality because it is vector-based vs pixel-based. I would check what settings the site you are using has for converting the PDF to see if you can adjust them to create a higher-quality image.

because I used the website to prove it is power automate that is making the quality of the JPG crap. This is a PDF that gets sent hourly as an email attachment. As I physically cannot sit at my desk 24 hours a day 6 days a week to do them myself, I am trying to use power automate to do it.

Again, the web converter was done manually as a test.

I would submit a ticket to Microsoft on this through your company's admin portal. I don't think this is something the community can assist you with. But, of course, you can wait for feedback from others and maybe they'll have a suggestion.

@David_MA, you shouldn't recommend spamming the bug tracker ;)
