Yes/No Condition based on a people picker SharePoint column

Hi all,

I am working on a flow allowing only users to view their own items in a list depending on a SharePoint 'Responsible' AD people picker column when their name is selected. But, I do want to allow managers to see all items, so I want to exclude them from these item permissions using, potentially, a yes/no condition. Please see below:

People picker if.jpg

If 'Responsible' = Lee for example, it will be a 'yes', and set no item permissions, no further action needed, i want the managers to see everything. If Lee is not in the remaining list of items for the 'Responsible' field, then everyone else will have item permissions set and they will only be able to view their own items where 'Responsible' = them. Hope that makes sense.

The trouble is that I cannot get the Yes/No condition to work for the AD people picker. It won't acknowledge this, no matter if I add speech marks or anything. Help!

Is there a way of adding the people picker selection to the If? Also, if there is an easier way of doing this then I am all ears and can change the flow, no problem.

Thanks very much in advance! 😊
