Power Automate Form to sharepoint list to approver to sharepoint update - Not all data updating

Hello,

I've created a flow, that works ALMOST perfectly 🙂

My issue is that once the SharePoint list has been created, it triggers an approval process where it emails the approver.  This part works well, but the information pulled from the form that creates the SharePoint list, doesn't pull into the email.  I've added the dynamic content from the form.  Most of the information pulls forward, but the name of the submitter doesn't and it looks like I'm the one that created the request.

Screenshot of part of the flow:

Screenshot of the email that comes through:

missing the person who submitted "Name"

Also, shows from myself.  How do I change that to the person who submitted the form?

    @melhal

    If the Form is not anonymous and is open only to internal users, the Form submitters email should be available along with all of the other Form data when the Form is submitted.  The SharePoint list item will show the creator as the creator of the Flow (by default).  I suggest adding a person or group column to the SharePoint list and storing the Form submitter there.  You can then reference that column in your approval.

    I have the name of the submitter currently on the list.  Should I pull that data from SharePoint instead of from the form?

    The form asks for a name but doesn't pull forward when the email sends. All other data from the form pulls forward.

    It also says that I'm the requestor, not the person who submitted the form.  How do I fix that?

    In your "create approval" action, expand the advanced option and set the requestor to the "responder email". Likewise, you could use that email in an "Office 365 Users - get user profile" action to get their display name to plug into the email.
