Teams Site Address

Hi,

I have a flow which provides the Site Address for a new Team except after I next run the flow after the deletion of a Team.

I create a Team and provide a guest user with access.  I have a HTTP get method to obtain the Site Address for the new Team and then create a new Sharepoint folder at that Site Address. The HTTP method follows https://normyoung.ca/2020/12/03/use-power-automate-to-get-a-ms-teams-sharepoint-url/

The HTTP get method always fails after the deletion of a Team. But, it works on the next occassion after the failure. This results in two teams with the same Team name except for a variable number after the name for the second Team in the Site Address of the Team. The first Team does not create a new Sharepoint folder. The second Team after deletion does create the Sharepoint folder.

Assistance please on preventing the flow from failing after deletion of a Team.

    Hi Kierian,

    Here is my Flow:

    Flow Diagram_Page_1.jpg

    Flow Diagram_Page_2.jpg

    Flow Diagram_Page_3.jpg

    Flow Diagram_Page_4.jpg

    Flow Diagram_Page_5.jpg

The Runs of the flow with timestamps follow. You will see from the Runs:

    • 11:24 AM - run OK, creates Team and file is copied to the General Channel "Files" tab. SharePoint can be accessed
    • I then delete the Team
    • 11:27 AM - run fails at HTTP 2 "ResourceNotFound" error, the Team is created but no file is copied the "Files" tab, it displays "We can't get your files". No SharePoint site is created.

    Flow Runs_Page_2.jpg

    • I then test the Flow with the prior run
    • 11:28 AM run OK, creates Team and file is copied to the General Channel "Files" tab. SharePoint can be accessed

    Flow Runs_Page_3.jpg

Prior to the above at 11:23 AM there was a "Request_ResourceNotFound" error on Get Group 2.

    You assistance is appreciated.

Any updates on this? Seems like the issue isn't resolved as I've encounted the same problem.

Creating the team via PowerAutomate works fine, but accessing the site and files afterwards does not work until I manually browse the site. Using the 'get lists and libraries' connector returns only one library "Documents", but een trying to save a file to that library fails.

I think I must be missing something in the original post but based on what is stated and what I see in the reference link, it would be expected that the flow would fail if the team has been deleted. The solution in the link is essentially trying to automate going to https://portal.azure.com/ and searching for a Team by its name to return the ID of the team.
