My users are having what I believe are authentication issues with SharePoint while browsing data in apps.
I have several apps that gather data across multiple SharePoint sources (lists/libraries), so could also be my method of collecting or calling on data source, but i'm not sure as this seems to be a recent issue.
Example issue: A user viewing a "post" (list record's data) with embedded image (stored in a SharePoint library) will occasionally encounter a "broken" image in post.
When I ask the user to inspect further they will find that when trying to load the image directly in new browser tab using the @src of image from post, they get a 500 error (something about header length). When they go directly to SharePoint, they note that "favorite" links of SharePoint main O365 landing page are "not found."
Fixes: They sign out of their O365 account. Clear cache in browser. Go to O365 authentication page, sign in. Then go to SharePoint from Authentication page (watching page load, i see repeat attempts to authenticate). Then relaunch app and blamo, no issues.
Anyone have an idea of what might be happening here?
It's really difficult 'teaching' folks to sign out of everything each day, clear cache, and then each morning go through above steps.
