Hi all,

I want to send an email on 2020-02-02 at 14:00 hours.

How can this be done?

It seems like such a simple thing, but I can't get it done with flow.

Thanks in advance!

Cheers

    Hi @rcgdegraaf

It is possible to set up a scheduled Flow starting on a particular date. This will then recur based on the schedule provided in the trigger. Do you only wish to send the email once or is this something that should be sent every month?

    Hi @LeeHarris ,

    Thanks for your answer.

I only want to send it once, so no recurrent mail.

Just like a scheduled mail like a newsletter.

I tried it with the recurrence trigger, but it's not possible to stop the flow after only one instance or on a specific date. (At least I couldn't find it)

I also tried the Manual trigger flow on a specific date, but it's not possible to also give it a time...

    Hi @rcgdegraaf

You can add a "Turn Off Flow" action to the end of your Flow and set the Environment and Flow values to match the scheduled Flow. This will essentially turn it off automatically after it runs once.

However, as you only want to send a single email it may be worth looking at options your email client can provide. If you are using Outlook for example, there is the ability to Delay Delivery on a particular email. It will then just sit in your Outbox until the specified date.

    Hope that helps.

The turn off flow is exactly what I needed, thanks @LeeHarris !

I want to keep it all in Teams so we can collaborate with the team and also see what flow's are running.

That's not possible if I set up things in my personal Outlook.
