Sharepoint user profile deleting after Access review

Hello,

We are currently implementing a two-stage solution for Access Reviews. In this process, guest users review their own access, followed by a global administrator conducting a secondary review. However, we’ve encountered an issue: when a guest user is deleted after an access review in Azure, their profile remains active in SharePoint. Subsequently, if the same user is recreated, it leads to conflicts within the SharePoint profile.

Given the large number of guest users in our tenant, manual removal of SharePoint profiles after each access review is not a feasible solution. Has anyone discovered an effective approach to automatically remove SharePoint profiles when a guest user is deleted?

Your insights and experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Best regards.
