I am using Power Automate to get a response from MS Forms to Excel online.

I am trying to get the URL path of the files attached in the MS Forms to Excel online but getting something like below

[{"name":"test attachment 2.pdf","link":"https://xxx-my.sharepoint.com/personal/xxx/Documents/Apps/Microsoft%20Forms/XX%20SG%20Office%20ART%20Test%20Results/Upload%20your%20ART%20test%20result%20Write%20your%20name%20and%20d/test%20attachment.pdf","id":"01CWU5FE3BDIPUTNMZHJDYMYLR3FTLSVL2","type":null,"size":288553,"referenceId":"01CWU5FE23HKLQPIUJENGIZMA2D5FDOG6C","driveId":"b!-VuhPZ96KEKQ6IAxN0LJTIbjVSokSNhHnn6Hr4O2p_DfaYynGP7yT7p7VJp21crN","status":1,"uploadSessionUrl":null}]

What is the correct expression or a way to get just the link of the file to appear in the Excel online?

    Hi @nasafi,

One approach would be to use a couple of split functions on this string value.

    Below is an example:

Replace the name of the action and the question id by your action name & question id.

    split(split(outputs('Get_response_details')?['body/r93c4be2ac9864c9686d9dea21853c394'], '"link":"')[1], '","id":')[0]

Can you please show us the complete flow ?Where exactly to add the split function in flow.

    Hi @Anonymous,

If it helps here is the flow I used to test this expression. I added the expression in a Compose directly after the Get response details action.

I’m having a challenge where both the filename and URL are included in the Excel file when I create a link with Power Automate  between FORMS and Excel. Is there anyone who can give me a good explanation to how I only get the URL? I’ve googled a lot, but the answers I find are very advanced and hard to understand. If there is a YouTube video on this, a link to this would be highly appreciated it.

In advance, thank you very much for your help!
