Copy sharepoint item detail from Document library to a List

HI ,

I'm trying to create a flow to Copy a SharePoint item detail  (not a file) from Document library to a List.

I created a trigger for Items in the doc library  ..."When a file is created or modified in a folder"  and then "get Files (properties Only)"  to get the Item values and then I used a "Apply to each" with a condition to check status.

I think it was correct but when I test the flow by modifying an item the flow doesn't respond.

any ideas - Thanks !

Two issues I see right away.

    1. You are using the ID property from the file to identify which list item you are updating.  The ID in the list won't match the ID in the document Library
    2. I only see an Update Item action.  When did the list item get created?  You can't update an item that doesn't exist.

You are quite right - I'm not updating the list,  I'm creating new List items from the Doc library.   I do do an update later to change the status field.

I went ahead and put in a "Create Item"  and ran a test , the funny thing on the test is that I usually get a check mark or a error on each step. here it just seems to keep running and not recoginise an item was modified or created in the library.  any thoughts ?
