Issue with emails in Power Automate not correctly attaching PDFs, instead attaching a general "File" type

Hi,

I'm building a flow where I'm populating a word template, converting it to PDF, saving this PDF to SharePoint, and then attaching this PDF in an email. The file attaches to the email just fine, but when opening the email in both desktop and online versions of Outlook, the file is not a PDF but a general "File" type. I need it to be a PDF. Has anyone experienced this issue, and/or know a solution for it? Attaching screenshots of my flow and the email experience.

Double check to make sure that you are including the .pdf extension when saving the file and attaching it to the email.  Lack of an extension is usually why you get the general file type instead of PDF.

Thanks for the reply. I am doing that in the create file action to save the PDF to the SharePoint site. Am I missing something?

Yes, but you're renaming the file when you attach it to the email and I don't see a PDF there or the use of a filename that would include the extension.
