Hey all,

Seeking some guidance and best practice around this. Currently we have a conditional access policy to force MFA with some exclusions (like our service accounts for power automate). I'm not too keen on this so wondering if anyone has a method that preserves the MFA requirement whilst not breaking flows?

One way to preserve the MFA requirement while not breaking flows is to use a service account
for implementing Power Automates rather than using individual accounts for connections.
This will allow you to exclude the service account from the conditional access policy and ensure
that your flows continue to work as expected.

like you said another approach is to use token lifetime policies to control the expiration of
Flow connections after MFA is enabled.
You can configure the token lifetime settings in the Azure portal to ensure that
Flow connections do not expire too frequently.
This will help to reduce the number of user logons required and ensure that your flows continue to work smoothly.
