I am fairly new to Power Automate and I have a simple flow created but I'm running into an issue.
Flow explanation:
- We have respondents submit a Form.
- Once Form is submitted, a task is created in Planner, a confirmation email with the form details is provided to the respondent, and a notification email is sent to my team.
- The Planner task has the information from the Form.
- Once the task is marked complete, an email is sent to the original Form respondent letting them know their request is completed.
The issue I am running into is that we receive many responses from many different respondents and any time one task is marked complete, all respondents that are currently in our queue receive the final email that the task was completed even if it is still in progress.
I understand the issue lies with the "When a Task is Completed" trigger and it is technically working as designed. I've seen a couple of threads discussing this and have tried a couple of the workarounds suggested but nothing seems to work for my scenario. Please let me know if you have any ideas to fix.
