Format Number without Rounding Up

Hi All

I am using a flow to update peoples ages in a sharepoint list based on their date of birth. The flow is working out their ages fine with decimal places, however I need to save these down to the list as a whole number but when I use any format number rules it rounds any with a decimal over 5 to the number above (as is the standard) but I need it to not do this as if someone is 21.6 years old they are still 21 and not 22

Just substract 0.5 from the number:

formatNumber(sub(item(), 0.5), '#')

Hi @LauraGrimes123

What formula you applying to get the decimal format? Can't you workout from the Current Year minus Date of Birth which will give you the age? For this you need to use expression like below.

sub(formatDateTime(utcNow(), 'yyyy'),formatDateTime('DateOfBirthColumnHere','yyyy'))
