Loops and Conditions Not Auto-Expanding When Opening a Flow in Power Automate

Recently, I have noticed a change in behavior when working with flows in Power Automate. Previously, when I opened a flow, actions inside loops (e.g., ForEach) and conditions would auto-expand by default, showing all sub-actions. However, now these loops and conditions remain collapsed, and I have to manually click the down arrow to expand them and view the actions inside.

    Hi,

From my experience, the current flow view is the view when the flow was last saved.  If you want to see the actions expanded, go change something in the flow, add a compose with utcNow(), expand your loop, then save.  Then delete your temporary compose action.

When you save with the actions expanded, they will appear expanded on future edits automatically.  The same can be said about new designer/classic designer ~ the view and designer used is saved in the flow schema so if you are working in classic designer, when you reopen it will start in classic.

I second @trice602 's answer. I just verified it myself. You have to actually make a change and save the flow with it expanded and then it will open expanded next time.

i can also confirm both solutions below did not work for me.

this is a new issue that has occurred over the Holiday period.

Please can we have a solution for this?

I can concur, loops, case, condition are no longer expanding.  I have a flow that just opens up with everything no expanded.  Please revert!
