Excel File couldn't open after row insert from data table with Loop

All,

I build a PAD flow to extract data from Web and insert set of data (1 row 16 columns) into the last row (around 180 +1 ) of an existing Excel file. I use FOR EACH loop to update the columns. I managed to insert the data into the file for the first time and after second run, flow completes without any error but the Excel file couldnt open. When clicking on the excel file, instance opens but not with the data, all menu, tabs and cells are greyed out. I issued the close instance of excel in the flow and no luck. .

Here are the steps

Launch Excel

Set active excel worksheet

Get first free row on column from excel sheet (To get the row to be inserted)

Loop the data table

Write to Excel Worksheet with write mode on specified cell

End

Save Excel

Close Excel

Any help would be greatly appreciated

what is the error your getting.Can you share the screenshot of the flow and error.

Thanks for picking this up!.

i don't get any error. it just don' open the excel file and excel stays like this.

Hello Vishnu,

Apologies i couldn't respond to your query earlier. I created a new file instead of the old /original one and now the error seems gone and have no issues in writing and saving and re-opening the file. I suspect the original file is corrupted and causing the issue.
