How to sum numerical response values in a Microsoft form

Hello,

I have created a travel request form, where there is a list of questions that ask for numerical values. For example:

Question 1: Cost of flight ($500)

Question 2: Cost of Hotel ($1000)

Questions 3: Cost of Meals & Incidentals ($200)

Ideally, I'd like Question 4 to ask for an Estimated Total, automatically summing the values that were entered in Questions #1-3. However, from my research, it doesn't seem like this is possible. Is that true? Anyone been able to do it?

If this is not possible, it seems like people are trying to do similar, not the same, things by setting up a flow in PowerAutomate, but I haven't been able to find anything to show how to do exactly what I'm trying to do. Anyone have any thoughts or ideas?

Thank you!

You are correct, MS Forms will not let you do an expression to do a Calculated Answer.

You would have to capture their responses and add them up.

IF these are people inside your company, you could Create a SharePoint list form and have them fill that out, or you could create a very simple Canvas App, and then you COULD do what you asked.

Unfortunately just not with ms forms :-( atm sorry

If these suggestions help resolve your issue, Please consider Marking the answer as such and also maybe a like.

    Thank you!
