Planner Connector Tools do not function properly

The "Update a task" and "Update task details" connectors are not functional. The only input in the connector configuration is taskID, yet I keep getting empty payload errors when I try to invoke these connectors.

Honestly, all the planner connectors are not good. I have to provide the groupID to call "Create a task" for example which is not a value readily on hand and it breaks my workflow. I have to call "List tasks" and scroll through to get the planID so I can call the connector I actually want. Although, the group/plan ID is not always requested by my agent.

However, despite my many attempts, I can not use the update task connectors. Does anyone have any advice?

The error suggests the Planner connector is being called with only the Task ID and no update values. The Planner API requires at least one field (such as title, due date, priority, or percent complete) in the request body. Since Copilot Studio appears to be sending an empty payload, the connector returns 400 - Empty Payload. This may be a limitation or issue with the current Planner connector implementation.
As a workaround, consider using a Power Automate flow or Graph API action to update tasks until the connector behavior is improved.

Is there any ETA on the fix for the planner connectors? Can the tracking work item be shared here? This issue has been happening for about a year now based on my research.
