How do I turn off the emails saying "1 of your flow(s) have failed"?

I created a Flow with a "Start and wait for an approval" step that sends an Approval to the submitter's supervisor and is set to time out after 7 days. If for whatever reason the supervisor doesn't respond, the flow "fails". That's fine, except I get a weekly email telling me how many times the flow has "failed".

I assumed that clicking the "Repair tips off" button would stop these emails, but it hasn't.

The odd thing is that I'm not even the primary owner of this flow any more; I re-assigned it to another user.

So:
  • How do I turn off these emails?
  • If I can't do that, can I somehow modify the flow to not "fail" when the "Start and wait for an approval" step times out?
  • What does the "Repair tips off" button actually do?

According to Microsoft Support, it is not possible to turn off these Power Automate "digest" emails. The only option is to create a rule in Outlook to block them.

In the absence of any information to the contrary, I am assuming that it is not possible to modify the flow to not fail when the "Start and wait for an approval" step times out, and that the "Repair tips" button does nothing.
