I use excel online to work on a spreadsheet from another user's onedrive. I installed the flow add-in to excel online. It had been working fine for months. now it won't let me sign in. It will pop up the sign in window, but will never sign me in. I get no error message.

Weirdly, if you open the spreadsheet in the desktop app, it does let me sign in. How can i fix this?

Unable to sign in to "flow" add-in in excel online
"For now, you can turn off storage partitioning in Chrome by using the
    --disable-features=ThirdPartyStoragePartitioning command-line switch."

So you need to prepare a shortcut like this:

Unable to sign in to "flow" add-in in excel online
" Experimentalthird-party storage partitioning" has been removed from Edge and Chrome.

    >> can we login in browser of ms team instead?
    Or any solution to login?

The only option now is to run the flow from the " Automation" tab.
    >> how to add flow in automation tab?
I have only flow in data tab.
And why automation tab can help us login?

When will Microsoft come to answer?
Or have any way to contact Microsoft to ask method to login

Unable to sign in to "flow" add-in in excel online
Unfortunately the " Experimentalthird-party storage partitioning" has been removed from Edge and Chrome.
So this solution does not work anymore.
The only option now is to run the flow from the " Automation" tab.

I've been following all of the above advice. Still seem to be struggling to login on Excel online.

Are there any other variables which perhaps could be causing this?

I've raised an issue with my comapnies IT department in hope they can help. Might it have something to do with the companies systems?

Works but step 2 is now only called 'third party storage partitioning' (current Feb 6th 2024)

Thank you for this @kali2616!!! It worked for me as well.

I'm wondering if this feature of Chrome is to blame for the issue? Edge is a Chromium browser as well so it would make sense. Apparently, other applications are experiencing problems related to this "Experimental third-party storage partitioning" as well.

@kali2616 @MichaelVreuls This works. Seems to be a secure fix as well.

    Thank you.

Re: Unable to sign in to "flow" add-in in excel online

    Thank you kali2616,

I can confirm that this works in Chrome.

I even did not have to add-in Flow again.
And Flow was automatically logged in already.
So the first 3 steps sufficed.

    1. copy this on your browser either edge or chrome (mine is chrome): chrome://flags/

    2. Look for Experimentalthird-party storage partitioning and click Disabled

    3. Then click Relaunch

    Hi there,

The Microsoft team was able to help me with this issue. This might work on your end, even though it is not yet the real fix.
    1. copy this on your browser either edge or chrome (mine is chrome): chrome://flags/

    2. Look for Experimentalthird-party storage partitioning and click Disabled

    3. Then click Relaunch
    4. Go back to your excel online
    5. Open add in and add Microsoft Power Automate Flow
    6. Click Data then Sign -in

    🙂
