What is meant by 'an instance of a database'?. If I create two instances of a database, what does that mean?.

But I thought in Environments it shows Environments?.
Every Dataverse instance is tied to a single environment. If you have two Davaverse instances, then you will have two environments. Here is a link that gives a description of the main pages in the Power Platform Admin Center.
