Dataverse Update Row not updating row.

In a flow, I have an Update Row block that should change a field with an 'In Progress' when it gets to a point in my approval routing.  I see that the block runs and is marked complete, however, the table doesn't update.

The part that I do not get is I have the same setup when the approval is done to change the status to 'Complete'.  This update block works as it should.

The value comes from a choice list.  Nothing that I can tell is overwriting the value, I have even tried to delete the non-working block to re-insert a new one.  Nothing I try seems to be working.  Any thoughts?

    Hi  @KGuthrie-NF

Thanks for clarifying this. From the screenshot it looks ok. You need to check the run history and check that switch case condition is executed or not.

    Thanks

Yes, that is the step.  The InProgress is the first thing done in that case statement.  The conditional step you see below is just a condition to send an email to a user or not based on a yes/no condition.

    Hi @KGuthrie-NF

Lots of step here 🙂 Is this step? Here where is the InProgress one. I can see a conditional parallel branch here.

The one that is not working is in the 'Started (Dept Approval)' case.

The one that works is in the 'Completed' case.

    Hi @KGuthrie-NF

Thanks for the screenshot. In this which step is the update In Progress?

    Thanks

Re: Dataverse Update Row not updating row.

I have gone through the run history and cannot find why it is not working.  From what I can tell it IS updating. Unfortunately, I cannot audit the table.  Our organization does not have this feature turned on.

As far as seeing the full flow, it is quite expansive (It is a recursive CASE flow) and will be hard to get on one screenshot.  Below is the best I can do.

    Hi @KGuthrie-NF

Need to see the full flow to determine what's going on here.

Could of ways to debug this.

    1. Check the run history of each steps in your flow.

    2. Turn on the Audit history of those fields under that table. Check the values after running the flow.

    Thanks
