Hi All,

I am creating a flow, which upon receiving an email, will create a work item in azure DevOps boards. If the email has attachments, it will save those attachments in the SharePoint site folder, create a link of those attachments and update the work item description with the SharePoint links. Now, I am testing this flow with a single attachment, but when I try to update the work item the flow gives an error, that response is not in JSON format. please have a look at my flow

Here is the error message

Can someone please help me?

Thanks,

Bee

    Hello @Anonymous

The issue might be related to Wrong item ID selected in the Card. Check it again if the Item ID you selected is matching with this flow . And can you share a screenshot of the update work item in edit mode so that I can better identify the issue and assist you with this.

    Thanks

    Hi @pre

Thank you for replying to me here. Here are two screenshots where I am selecting creating a work item id, storing it in a variable

and then referring that variable in update work item id

Also, another question, I am having in mind is, there can be multiple attachments in an email, how can we pass all

the links to the work item id description to be updated?

    Thanks,

    Bee

    Hi @pre

I am also attaching create file item link in edit mode as well, I somewhere doubt this portion. I want to create the link of

saved attachment at the shared drive and update this link in the description of work item id. Please have a look at this as well.

    Hi @Mira_Ghaly

That was indeed the issue, but my the flow is not working as expected.

I built this flow with the intention that, the flow will iterate over each attachment, create a link for it and update the work item

    description for each attachment link.

Unfortunately, it only saves the link of last attachment (although my flow is using for each loop) and removes everything previously

added and also do not update the description of the work item with all links of the attachment.

Can you guide me where I am going wrong here?

    Thanks,

    Bee
