How to setup a "subscription" for the on-premise data gateway when using custom connector in new designer?

I've created a custom connector that is to connect via on-premises data gateway:

I am using one of the actions from the custom connector for the first time in the "new" designer for a flow packed within a non-default solution:

The flow designer suggests (correctly) that I should create a connection reference.

One of the required fields there is "Subscription" but the problem is that I cannot select anything there - the list is empty. I cannot proceed with the creation since the field is required.

Does anyone know where to setup a subscription that is valid for a on-premise data gateway? I cannot find anywhere to configure this. There is no way to select a subscription when the on-premise data gateway is installed. I cannot find anything in Power Platform Admin Center for the on-premise data gateway either.

I do know that the old editor works but I want to know how to make the new editor to work. I am guessing that the old editor will be deprecated and everyone (me included) will need to move on to the new editor. I want to know before that happens what I/we need to in order to create connections from the UI.

I am also facing the same problem when trying to move solutions between environments because when the solution is moved to an environment where the connection does not exist then it needs to be created. But, in this context too I am getting the input field for subscription and the solution cannot be installed in the new environment.

Got it! Not sure what the problem is but you can turn off the new designer from the top right button and then create your connection. Doing that, it ill not show the subsciption field.
