Adding an attachment in an approval

Hi All

I am hoping someone could help me if possible with the best way of adding attachments from an approval email? At the moment I have a flow where they fill in a Microsoft form and upload an attachment it then goes through to approval. If that has been approved it goes to a second email address (different department) to get approved but I want the ability for them to add a file to that approval and send it on in an email. Does anyone know if this is possible? If so how?

Hi @PennyP

Of course you can add an attachment to an approval email.

The following step is for your reference:
'Get file content' can be found in many connectors, like sharepoint, onedrive, file system.

The result of the flow in Outlook is:

Many thanks for your response but I have successfully managed to add an attachment to an approval what I need to do is send an email through then the end user adds an attachment and then gets picked up by Power Automate so I can use it in the flow so I need flow which picks up attachment from email if possible?

Hi @PennyP

Do you mean you want the approver to be able to add attachment when they approve? I'm afraid currently, Power Automate doesn't support this. If you want this feature to be added to Power Automate, you can post it in Ideas forum (the more votes one get, the more possible that this feature will be added to Power Automate):Power Automate Ideas - Power Platform Community (microsoft.com)
