Label Text directly relating to choice in previous gallery.

Hi

This, hopefully, is something that can be solved very simply, but I just can't seem to find it.

What I am hoping to do is make the label of a gallery change, depending on what was chosen in a previous gallery.

I have a list of locations in the first gallery, and when one location is chosen, the app brings up a list of all items within that location. What I want to do is have a custom label which tells the user which location they are in at the top of the second gallery.

For instance, first gallery chooses "Location 1", then the second gallery label will state "Location 1" at the top of the gallery.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Matty

    Hello,

    You can insert a Label (Label1) above Gallery2 and set the Text Property of Label1 to:
    Label1.Text= Gallery1.Selected.Location

    Instead of Location you should use the column name of the table that contains the locations.

    Hi Mike,

    Thanks for your help.

    Unfortunately this does not seem to be working, though, as I am getting an Invalid Argument Type warning when I enter the text as recommended.

    All working now,  just needed the below.

    'Locations Gallery'.Selected.Location

    Works like a charm, thanks.
