Unable to select UI element

Hi everyone, I've been having trouble trying to add a UI element from my Oracle home page (screenshot below) and I'm running out of ideas on how to fix it. I'm using Internet Explorer to log in. I would hover my mouse over the link (Setup, in this case), the red box would appear and I would click Ctrl and left mouse click to select the link. The browser window would then freeze for a few seconds as if it's trying to recognise the UI element. After that, nothing happens and the Tracking Session window would not pick up the element at all. I've tried this multiple times selecting different menu items (Setup, Reports, Control, etc.) but the same issue remains.

Does anyone happen to know what the issue is? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Hello @KT_3

Did you try using Microsoft Edge or any other Web browser software?

For Internet Explorer, did you try different web site to capture UI element?

If you have another PC, did you try the same thing on that PC, too?

Try to isolate where the real problem is hiding.

    Thank you.

Did you install the browser extension?

Alternatively, you could use image recognition to navigate: "Move mouse to image" also has an option to Click after moving the cursor to the image. Should enable you to hover and select/click elements.

Me personally dont use Internet explorer, its being deprecated as we speak.

Use Edge as others have mentioned.

Give the " Mouse to image " plenty of time to find the correct Ui Element....

If it still doesnt work you will have to edit the selector...
