I have made a few flows triggered by actions in Dynamics. For instance;
- creating a new account in Dynamics, triggers the creation of an item in our SharePoint list of clients.
- creating a new opportunity in Dynamics triggers a Yammer post telling people about the opportunity and who it's for.
- creating a new account in Dynamics triggers a check on some of the data and generates an e-mail if there are mistakes
The problem is that things take forever! Sometimes, there is a half hour delay between the trigger and the output. Is that normal? Can anything be done to improve things? None of the flows I have made are using more than three steps and most of them are very basic stuff.
I am also having this same problem. I have flows triggered by either the creation or update of an opportunity in Dynamics and I am seeing over an hour delay for the Flow to execute.
Yes - I just used that as an example. I have a number of flows that are triggered by "Create a New Record". In some of them, that record is an Account, in others its an Opportunity or a Contact, etc. The delay i experience is the same regardless, though.
Hi Martin,
Firstly, I didn't see any "creating a new account in Dynamics" action in Flow. Only "Create a new record", did you mean this action?
