Creating an image library

Hi, our graphic design team is keen to have an image library on our Intranet (Sharepoint), that allows other staff the ability to view metadata like file size, dimensions, location, creator, date created along with the ability to download images.

-The ideal solution allows the design team to upload images and then pick up the metadata automatically from the images.

-The end user should be able to browse thumbnails of images and also (ideally) search for an image and download single or multiple images.

I've tried using a document library webpart but didn't have much success.
Is using a List the best way to go about this?
Has anyone else had any success with creating a functioning image library on Sharepoint 365?

Hi @JosiahP88 ,

A normal SharePoint Library would do the job with all the details in fields. As for the metadata, it is not currently possible OoB (it has been sitting in Ideas for a while), however I believe Encodian may have a solution.

Thanks @WarrenBelz by "SharePoint library" did you mean a "Document Library" ?

Or something else?
