Hello everyone,

I am new to Powerapp. I have a form on Model driven app. I want to configure form validation to ensure that the right data are being retrieved.

I searched the net but did not find anything similar. Can you please confirm if this is achievable on model driven app.

Thanks,

Deevya

    Hi @DeevyaAskoolum ,

Could you please share a bit more about your scenario?

Do you want to configure a form validation within a Model-Driven app form?

If you want to configure a form validation within a Model-Driven app form, I afraid that there is no direct way to achieve your needs in PowerApps currently.

As an alternative solution, I think the "Business Rules" functionality in PowerApps Model-Driven form could achieve your needs. I have made a test on my side, please take a try with the following workaround:3.JPG

More details about Business Rules in Model-Driven forms, please check the following article:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/model-driven-apps/create-business-rules-recommendations-apply-logic-form

    Best regards,
