Call a long running child flow which takes more than 5 days

i have a scheduled power automate flow which calls a child flow, the child flow is long running flow, now when it took 5 days of running , the schedule flow shows error that it did not get a response and called the flow again, why this happened?
can not i force the schduled flow to wait for the child flow till it finish running?

    The default timeout setting for the action that calls a child flow is 1 day.  you need to change it to something like P7D to allow enough time for the child flow to run before the parent action times out.

    @Pstork1 so P7D means 7 days? alos in my case it did not timeout until 5 days of execution

    Yes, P7D means seven days.  The timeout controls how long the action will wait for the child flow to respond.  It doesn't control how long the child flow runs.  But if the timeout is too short then when the child flow finishes and tries to return a value the parent flow has stopped waiting for it.
