Hi,

Please find the below details to replicate the issue.

Scenario: We have PCF dataset control configured for the activity entity. The control is visible for all activities views i.e from the Activity home grid and on the opportunity activity tab. The default view selected on Activity is for All Tasks.

Based on the entity name which we receive in the PCF context we have retrieving statuscode field metadata for that particular entity.

If the view is selected as my activities, all activities in context we get the entityname as activity pointer.

And if the view is changed to All task then we get entity name as task. Which is correct

The issue is when we are on Opportunity tab the entity name in context comes as activitypointer we are correct

but when click on the activity entity from the navigation pane to switch on the activity home grid

the entity name should come as task in the context as the default view is of the task but we get activitypointer as the entityname in context.

Activity_Entity.png

But the view which is loaded is of All tasks.

As the entity name is incorrect we are retrieving incorrect info.

But when we refresh the page we are getting the correct entity name as task.

Let me know if you require any additional info regarding the issue.

Thanks in advance.

Can you please post the code that captures the entity logical name?
