Apps use for advertising purposes

Hello everyone!

 

I was on an education session last week, where the performer said, the published apps may be used by microsoft for advertising purposes.

 

Is this true? I looked forward it, but i didnt find any other source for it. Someone can confirm it?

    Hello @home 

     

    If you are talking about the capability of the Power Apps Portal to run advertisements, more details in here.

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-apps/maker/portals/configure/create-run-advertisement

     

    If you are talking about Microsoft using your app to advertise the capabilities/possibilities of the platform itself, I think they will reach out to you if ever they want to use your app. I believe a prior public demonstration of your app would be needed for Microsoft to know about it.
