Creating pdfs from a list in excel

Hi,  I've created a few flows in the past but this one has me stumped.

My team runs training courses and at the end of each course we issue all the attendees with a certificate.

The certificates are made in PowerPoint, but I guess we could switch to Word if that helped.

The attendee list is in Excel.

Each certificate needs to be an individual pdf that can be mailed to the attendee.

Can this be done with Power Automate?

The following actions will get you to the point of creating the certificate in MS Word. To create the pdf file requires a premium action, which I do not have. For the Word document, use the Title field where you want to populate the name. I also inserted a date that auto-updates. It produces this from a basic certificate template in Word:

    This is the flow:

    The steps:

    1. Get file content using path: store the Word file on your SharePoint site. This step gets the file content so you can make a copy.
    2. Create file generates a new file so you can create a new file for each name in your Excel file. I named the file with the person's name in the Excel spreadsheet with .docx as the extension.
    3. Update file properties is where you populate the Title with the name from your Excel file.
    4. Get file content gets the file after it has been updated.
    5. The final step e-mails the file to the recipient.

You'll need to add an action after step #3 to convert the Word document to PDF. Then in the step to get the file content you will get it from the generated PDF to attach to your e-mail.

Note: Unless you want to make your flow more complex, you will need to delete or move the files that have been created. Otherwise, if you generate a file for someone with the same name as a prior participant, the flow will fail.
