Is it possible to make this in power pages/apps?

I have to make a similar form to this: Registration - Employment Services BGHP (employmentbghs.ca) in Power pages/apps.  Is this possible?  Using tabs to display two different forms with two different tables?

I understand the following:

- Can only embed model driven app on power page due to licensing (users outside our company fill in the forms)

- Can only have one canvas app embedded in one model driven app

- Can only use one table for model driven app

I don't want to merge the tables into one.

Any ideas??

TIA

Dawn

    Hi @DawnP

Welcome to the Power Pages Forum. Please follow the instructions from @Fubar

In Short. You need a bit of work to achieve a similar look and feel. Perhaps if you have a front-end developer with you they can achieve this by applying custom CSS.

But the core here is to digest the information that @Fubar has shared about the Power Pages Forms naming conventions/architecture.

There are different ways it can be achieved.

If you are doing Web Pages they do not need to be in the Navigation, each Web Page has a unique short name that forms its URL, you can also link a parent page/group and not have it show in the main Navigation - just create your own Web Link Set rather than using the one that is used for the main menu (to do this use the Portal/Power Pages Management App and not the site editor).

    Hi @Fubar ,

I have tried using Clickable tabs navigation for Power Pages and Power Apps Portals - Ulrikke Akerbæk (akerbak.com) but unfortunately my client doesn't want the pages showing in navigation so they need to be in the "Other" list (can't do child pages).  Any other help you can provide to guide me to be able to add tabs to power pages and have two different forms (with different tables).

I apologize for my language being incorrect for model driven apps as they are not embedded on power pages.  I am fairly new at this.

Can you have Tabs using different Tables = Yes.  But it requires a bit of work as it is not a native feature of the product.

You do not embed a Model Driven App in Power Pages.  The Forms that Power Pages uses are Model Driven App forms (but the Model Driven app is not embedded)

Each Form is only for 1 main table (but can have subgrids for child records).

Licensing needs to be established for All users, both external and internal users can use power pages with the appropriate licensing (some products such as Dynamics 365 may include licensing for the portal included with them also). Refer to the Power Apps Licensing Guide regarding Power Pages authenticated and anonymous user licensing.
