Power Automate fails sometimes but sometimes it works

I have a flow that is triggered by "when a change happens in a sql table"

The flow triggers every time.

The flow runs successfull almost every time.

But sometimes it fails on a teams connector: List Channels

I dont have a clue why. The error message says : Unauthorized

The team it fetches channels from is always the same team.

The account that own the flow are owner of that team.

Sometimes the flow works, sometimes it fails and always with the same message.

If i resubmit the flow when it have failed. It always works.

Any ideas to why this happens?

    Hello,

Do you have the flow shared with multiple people? If so, ensure it always runs through the flow owners connection.

You might also have to re-authorize the connection, try to click on "Data" in the left hand panel -> Connections -> then find the connection and check the status of the connection.

If there's an error sign on the status, try to hit the "Fix connection" button.

Alternatively, you might want to try and re-create the entire flow, if the issue persists and there's no initial connection issues to be found.

Since the flow i triggered by changes in sql table, there is no other users triggering the flow so no other users would use the connections in the flow. The option to point connections to the owners account only is not possible therefor.

Since the flow runs fine often. And the flow uses the same connection (teams) several times. It is just the connector for list channels that fails sometimes (randomly).

There is no connection errors to fix.

Re-creating the flow is the last thing i want to do. It is a large flow and have several steps. I rather figure out why the flow is failing on the same place sometimes.

This problem still happens. The flow triggers about 1-2 times per day. Some days i have no problems, some days it stops.

I cant see a pattern on why more than the access to the team fails. Since it is only one team connector that fails (list channels) and not all team connectors i cant see it being a solution, rebuilding the whole flow.

    Hello,

I understand the frustration of having to re-create a large flow.

I cannot explain why you are experiencing this issue, other than something is bugged with your connection. Perhaps someone else can chip in with suggestions.

The last thing I can think of as potential "fixes", is to delete your connection under your connections tab, and then re-sign it.

Or copy the actions within your flow, and then re-create the specific ones where you encounter errors within the flow.
I have experienced similar issues, with random 401 errors using Excel actions. I found the solutions for those errors was to re-authorize the connection. They also randomly occur without any exact explanation as to why.

Sorry I am not able to be of more help.

    Best regards
    AndreasN
