Admin connector requires admin consent

I would like to use "Microsoft Flow for Admins" connector, however, whenever I try to create a connection, I get message that I need admin approval.

My account is already Power Platform Administrator, Dynamics 365 administrator and Azure Service Administrator. What else do I need in order to use this connector. The other connector - Power Apps for Admins works fine.

Thanks,

Marek

Hi @Anonymous  You should not get the error message? but before concluding the response could you please provide little bit more information (a screen capture).

Are you trying to create a Custom Connector  or just trying to use Admin connector  in your Power Automate?

Hi @Anonymous , Try to access the Admin center https://admin.flow.microsoft.com/environments and go to your Environment details page. Than click on "Resource"  ->"Flows". If you can access view all environment FLOWS. Than your issue may not be related to permission.

We can further investigate after this check.

you can also use following aka link for -http://aka.ms/ppac to access Power Platform Admin centers.

    Hi @DeepakS ,

I can cofirm I see and can access details of all Flows in environment in Admin center.

Seems like it's not a problem of permissions then.

    Any other ideas?

    Hi @Oliver21 ,

yes, you need to go to Azure Portal as admin.

Then go to Azure Active Directory -> Enterprise applications and search for FlowPRCustomConnector. You need to grant permissions to this app.

When you open it, go to Permissions -> User consent and grant it required people.

I'm running into this same issue,  But I'm unable to find the app MSFT Power Platform - outlook task in Azure AD to approve permissions for the user. Anyone know how to find it?

    Thanks

@Anonymous disaregard the app finally showed up in AAD enterprise apps. I'm not sure why but it showed up after I went out to power automate with my admin account and approved it there. Then I was able to find it within AAD. Thanks for the response
