Textbox with a combination of 2 DropDown.

Hello everyone.

I have an excel spreadsheet with a table I imported to powerapps.

On powerapps, I have a TextBox where I want to show a result of a combination between 2 DropDown.

In this particular case (image attached), TARGET is influenced by DEPARTMENT and PROJECT.

Is that possible? If so, can you help do this?

Thank you.

    Hi @RLeite ,

You could use the "Concatenate" function to combine the values of the two DropDown selections. I have test for your reference, please try the following workaround:

    Expression:

    Concatenate(Dropdown4.Selected.'Expiry date',Dropdown5.Selected.ItemInternalID)

Thank you for your response but probably I didn't explain my problem very well.

My excel spreadsheet has 3 columns: DEPARTMENT, PROJECT and TARGET

I would like my TARGET textbox to show a value regarding the choice of DAPARTMENT and PROJECT.

    Hi @RLeite ,

Why are you using DropDown to display the values of the DEPARTMENT and PROJECT columns?

Are you displaying DropDown and textbox in a Form? If you want TARGET column value to display  "DEPARTMENT" column value and PROJECT column value in the same record, you could use the "Concatenate" function to combine the values of DEPARTMENT and PROJECT columns together.
